Nonduality

Nonduality is the ancient philosophy of seeing and perceiving life or reality as an infinite, edgeless, timeless, awareness, as aware presence. The Buddha, Jesus the Christ, Rumi, Meister Eckhart, Lao Tzu and many other historical teachers have pointed to the core belief of being a personal self in an external, time-based reality as the source of all suffering.

What we are as pure awareness appears so effortlessly and intimately as beingness we simply misperceive the appearances of life and create a story about life with a personal me or self at the center looking out to an external world of subjects and objects.

I was mostly a Christian pilgrim for more than 45 years and the essays and posts on this site reflect the many paradoxical and ancient nonduality teachings including the teachings of Jesus the Christ, the Buddha, Lao Tzu, and Wu Hsin, as well as modern teachers like Ramana Marharshi, Richard Rose, Alan Watts, Suzanne Segal, Toni Packer, and Douglas Harding.

What is animating beingness, awareness, will mysteriously place a path in front of you when you are ready.  If you are reading this site, there is likely a seed within that’s curious to uncover what you are and how perception and true nature could so easily be veiled.
